Job summary

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Ottawa is seeking a Pit Manager to oversee casino table games on a shift-by-shift basis. You will manage game spread, staffing, and compliance with Gaming Regulations, while maintaining surveillance and supporting a safe, engaging guest experience.

Lead a team to deliver excellent service, optimize product mix and pricing, and mentor staff through coaching. This role emphasizes confidentiality, adaptability, and collaboration within a dynamic casino environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of two years as a Floor Supervisor in a casino.

Responsibilities

Oversee multiple casino table games on a given shift as Pit Manager.
Review game spread, staffing levels and propose policy changes per gaming regulations.
Monitor internal security of table games operations and maintain surveillance as needed.
Provide top-level customer service to maximize guest satisfaction and return play.
Staff and schedule the Table Games department efficiently around events and conditions.
Ensure safe, professional, and productive work environment aligned with Hard Rock culture.
Develop team members’ knowledge through training and coaching.
Uphold responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service policies.
