Job summary

The Post Oak is seeking a Pit Supervisor to oversee casino floor activity across designated games, enforcing standards and ensuring guest satisfaction. You will monitor game integrity, manage dealers, and maintain high levels of courtesy for patrons.

Candidates should have casino experience, multi-game dealing proficiency, and strong leadership. Availability for varied shifts, plus a 21+ age requirement, are required for this role.

Qualifications

• Sound technical understanding of games manuals, policies, procedures.
• Knowledge of cheating techniques and how to identify them.
• Completion of games training programs with proficiency in several pit games.
• Minimum of two years multi-game dealing experience.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Identify denominations of gaming chips and currency.
• Print and write legibly.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Work as a team.
• Effective communication skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Must be available for varied shifts including early morning, late nights, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assume overall responsibility for the effective gaming service activities for a designated area or pit.
• Maintain awareness of activities of all games to observe and act on suspicious or irregular behavior.
• Control and direct games in progress by monitoring and providing assistance and dealer correction.
• Monitor player limits, gains/losses, and dealer performance; ensure high standards of courtesy.
• Oversee and advise on staff hiring, performance appraisals, and disciplinary actions.
• Provide and monitor on-the-job training for Dealers to ensure adequate guidance.
