Job summary

Cedar Crossing Casino & Entertainment Center in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a Full Time Pit Manager to supervise the pit area during shifts and ensure accurate game operations and guest satisfaction. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years experience in a comparable table games position.
• Experience in table games operations and knowledge of casino games; Excel and Word required.

Responsibilities

• Provide next-level guest service to internal and external guests and uphold Cedar Crossing culture.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, internal controls, and regulations.
• Open/close tables, verify chip inventory, float balances, and accurate documentation.
• Monitor fills, credits, and marker transactions per controls and regulatory requirements.
• Enforce table game rules and resolve disputes between guests and dealers.
• Collaborate with Surveillance and Security on suspicious activity.
• Provide on-the-job training for Dealers and ensure adequate guidance.
• Maintain staffing levels and table spreads based on demand.
• Comply with AML policies by monitoring activity and reporting unusual transactions.
• Complete reports and projects assigned by the Casino Shift Manager.
