The Retail Associate Manager works in partnership with the Store Manager to lead and develop the store team to deliver T-Mobile’s aspirations of earning a place in our customers’ hearts and Mobile Associate success.
Job Responsibilities :
- Infuse every store’s Mobile Associates with a passion for T-Mobile’s Manifesto by thoroughly orienting and grounding them to a standard of Loving Our Customers.
- Ensure that customer needs are met, building their confidence by making their experience comfortable, simple, and by solving the whole problem.
- Observe Mobile Associates’ interactions with customers, providing feedback for development, training, and coaching.
- Manage customer wait times effectively. Stay current on products, services, and promotions.
- Lead by example, staying up to date on products, services, training, and leadership best practices. Interact directly with Mobile Associates to ensure they meet or exceed success measurements and complete training on time.
- Assist in maintaining store environment quality and adhere to plan-o-gram standards. Use visual displays effectively and keep them current. Support the execution of Retail Methods & Procedures.
- Ensure team knowledge of store systems and communications. Deliver financial results based on KPIs. Manage store expenses, discounts, and credits.
The experience you’ll bring :
- At least 1 year of customer service and/or sales experience, retail preferred
- Availability to work varied schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Leadership and mentoring skills to deliver results
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with teammates and customers
