Position Summary:

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Project Assistant (PA) is an excellent opportunity for someone aiming to enter the project management field. It serves as a direct pathway to an Assistant Project Manager role at StratComm. The PA will handle various administrative support tasks supporting multiple government projects across the country, involving numerous subcontractors and extensive schedules.

Database and Systems Support:

  • Maintain company databases related to Social Security Administration and other project contracts.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of all project information and documentation.
  • Support documentation for project compliance.
  • Work efficiently under tight deadlines, demonstrating attention to detail, communication skills, and comfort with data and technology.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and update daily schedules of subcontractors and government offices.
  • Upload and modify schedules as needed.
  • Maintain compliance documentation annually.
  • Interact with government personnel and subcontractors.
  • Perform quality control on service receipts and invoicing data.
  • Manage candidate and subcontractor databases, suggesting improvements.
  • Track SSA contract processing and updates.
  • Assist with subcontract modification documentation.
  • Organize server files and training documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to collaborate across project management teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Initiative, independence, and deadline management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Previous scheduling experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
