Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience supporting technical planning, execution, analysis, documentation, or reporting for combat system, weapon system, shipboard, shore-site, or similar technical test events.
• Ability to coordinate with shipboard personnel, combat system SMEs, Government stakeholders, and test-event participants.
• Ability to develop clear written inputs, briefings, status updates, technical reports, lessons learned, and post-event documentation.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products and maintaining accurate technical, schedule, action-item, and issue-tracking documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support CSSQTs, developmental T&E, SSDS land-based testing, operational tests, flight tests, SITs, and Fleet exercises.
• Develop T&E strategies and participate in program reviews and in-process reviews.
• Join and contribute to WIPTs and working groups, including TEMP/T&E Strategy, Requirements, Test Objective, Scenario, and Certification panels.
• Gather and evaluate test-event requirements, develop test objectives aligned with program goals, and support review and approval processes for objectives.
• Investigate and formulate test designs, develop test scenarios, prepare scenario packages, and coordinate scenario finalization and certification.
• Prepare and present briefings, track actions, milestones, and coordinate with test-team stakeholders.
• Participate in Mission Control Panels, Range Readiness Reviews, Mission Readiness Reviews, SITREPs, and other milestone reviews.
• Provide readiness status descriptions and event-status updates through SITREPs and informal updates.
• Coordinate communication among ship's force, test-event participants, and the test lead regarding accomplishments and scheduling issues.
• Identify, analyze, document, and support resolution of combat system issues, design problems, high-failure items, and training deficiencies.
• Operate and maintain Combat/Weapon System during test preparation and execution when watchstanders are unavailable.
• Support post-event meetings by briefing event outcomes, performance problems, lessons learned, and program recommendations.
• Collect and analyze data and metrics (KPPs, MOEs, MOPs, COIs, MOSs); analyze TORs and emergent issues; participate in DAWGs and produce Quick Look reports.
• Manage and document software, hardware, and logistics issues using the TOR database.
