Job summary

Accenture is seeking a utility Operations & Real-Time Systems professional to design, implement and optimize SCADA, EMS, ADMS, and related technologies for electric, gas, and water clients. You will work directly with clients, coordinate cross-functional teams, and contribute to grid modernization initiatives to improve reliability and efficiency.

The role emphasizes analytical problem solving, collaboration with stakeholders, and driving transformative technology programs, with travel as needed

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in utility operations and real-time systems.
• Experience with Transmission & Distribution control room environments, grid reliability and optimization.
• Experience with real-time operational systems such as SCADA, EMS, ADMS, DERMS, OMS, GIS or related technologies.
• Ability to contribute to technology implementation, operational improvement, or transformation programs.
• Willingness to travel to support client engagements and project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Support design, implementation, and optimization of real-time operational systems (SCADA, EMS, ADMS, DERMS) for utility clients.
• Lead workstreams or project activities based on level and experience.
• Perform current-state assessments, process analysis, and operational improvement evaluations.
• Gather requirements, design solutions, test and deploy, and manage change activities.
• Develop client deliverables including assessments, roadmaps, business cases, and executive presentations.
• Collaborate with clients, system integrators, and vendors to enable successful project delivery.
