Job summary

Priority Power, based in Texas, seeks a Manager, Project Development – Transmission & Distribution to lead a pipeline of utility-scale, high-voltage infrastructure projects. You will work with internal and external teams to advance transmission lines, substations, and interconnection facilities for industrial clients while traveling 25–50%.

This hybrid role requires a BS in engineering, a PE preferred, 10+ years in T&D development or PM, and strong leadership, communication, and regulatory

Qualifications

• 10+ years in utility-scale high-voltage project development/PM.
• BS in Electrical/Mechanical engineering (PE preferred).
• Experience with ERCOT or other ISOs.
• Strong communication and leadership.
• Travel 25–50%.

Responsibilities

• Qualify and advance high-voltage T&D projects with internal stakeholders.
• Develop pipelines of transmission lines, substations, and private wires.
• Prepare one-line diagrams, load flow analyses, and scoping docs.
• Lead permitting (NEPA, TCEQ) and interconnection processes.
• Coordinate with engineering teams and construction management.
• Support project financings and diligence responses.
