Job summary

Duke Health in Durham, NC is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator to advance the professional development of Nursing Assistants across the DUHS system. You will design and deliver educational programs, mentor staff, and support life support training, onboarding, and pathways to practice.

Lead system-wide education initiatives, collaborate with stakeholders, and drive quality, safety, and lifelong learning across nursing teams in a hospital-wide setting.

Qualifications

• 1 YOE in Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing Facility as an RN is required.
• BSN required; MSN preferred.
• Experience in nursing education, staff development, and program delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead system-wide NPCS orientation that supports safe practice and professional confidence.
• Create engaging onboarding experiences promoting readiness and retention.
• Partner with stakeholders to ensure high-quality orientation across DUHS entities.
• Deliver competence-based programs for nursing staff to improve skills and knowledge.
