Job summary

Duke Health’s Emergency Services at Duke Regional Hospital seeks a Nurse Manager to lead clinical practice and education within the unit. You will guide care delivery, supervise staff, and advance quality and safety initiatives.

With a strong focus on mentoring and process improvement, you will drive education programs, supervise performance, and collaborate across disciplines to elevate patient outcomes in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
• Minimum of three years nursing experience.
• Applicants must meet all requirements set forth by the DUHS Career Ladder Program for level IV.

Responsibilities

• Identify care needs across the continuum of care.
• Collaborate and provide leadership in developing standards of care and staff education.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and provide leadership within patient care delivery.
• Provide leadership in educational activities, departmental committees, research projects and other health-related initiatives.
• Conduct performance reviews and guide personnel actions as needed.
