Job summary

American Property Management in Bellevue, WA is seeking an experienced Training and Development Specialist to elevate our multifamily teams. You will design and deliver new hire, leasing, customer service, and ongoing employee training programs across all APM properties, ensuring readiness and consistency.

The role requires 5+ years in multifamily property management, 2+ years in training and development, and strong communication, attention to detail, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in multifamily property management within the last 10 years.
• 2+ years of experience in training and development.
• High School Diploma / GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Proficient in effective communication and teamwork.
• Maintains a positive outlook and collaborative approach.
• Shows responsibility and pride in work.
• Fluent in English with strong reading, speaking, and writing skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Develop and facilitate new hire, leasing, customer service, application, and ongoing employee training programs across all APM properties.
• Conduct monthly staff, Fair Housing, weekly toolbox, and huddle training sessions with progress tracking within 90 days.
• Support leasing performance by reinforcing standards and occupancy goals.
• Assist with lease-up and acquisition communities, including training and system setup.
• Support recruitment and retention through job fairs, interviews, and development initiatives.
• Administer Grace Hill: user access, training assignments, compliance tracking, and invoicing.
• Oversee setup and ongoing administration of Yardi, RealPage, and EliseAI across properties.
• Coordinate onboarding of new properties and employees, including permissions and integrations.
• Monitor system performance, data accuracy, reporting, and platform utilization.
• Develop and maintain operating procedures, training materials, and system docs; collaborate on enhancements.
