Job summary

American Property Management, Inc. is seeking a Training and Development Specialist to lead onboarding, leasing and employee training across all APM properties.

The role emphasizes collaboration, compliance, and measurable training outcomes. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in multifamily property management, 2+ years in training, a high school diploma or GED (bachelor's preferred), and proficiency with Grace Hill, Yardi, RealPage, EliseAI, and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of multifamily property management experience required.
• 2+ years in training and development required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and facilitate new hire, leasing, customer service, application, and ongoing employee training programs across all APM properties.
• Conduct monthly staff, Fair Housing, toolbox, and huddle training sessions and monitor progress within 90 days.
• Support leasing performance by reinforcing standards and improving occupancy goals.
• Assist with lease‑up and acquisition communities, including employee training, system setup, and property inspections.
• Support recruitment and retention through job fairs, candidate interviews, and employee development initiatives.
• Administer Grace Hill, including user access, training assignments, compliance tracking, and invoicing.
• Oversee setup and ongoing administration of Yardi, RealPage, and EliseAI for system accuracy and consistency.
