Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Huntsville, AL seeks a Systems Test Engineer at Level 3 or 4 to support the Ground-based Midcourse Defense program. You will develop test artifacts and verification approaches for the GWS contract while collaborating across Agile teams and handling diverse tasks.

You must hold a STEM degree with required years of experience, possess DoD Secret or higher clearance, and be ready to work on site in a fast-paced environment with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related work experience for Level 3 (Bachelor's in STEM).
• 3 years for Master’s in STEM; 1 year with PhD.
• 8 years for Level 4 (Bachelor's in STEM).
• Experience with SDLC software design, development, testing or deployment.
• Experience with DOORS for requirements management.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Fisheye/Crucible and Bitbucket.
• Experience developing test artifacts/cases and executing manual verification.
• Post-test analysis experience.
• Familiar with test automation or scripting (Python or similar).
• Knowledge of systems engineering principles and verification methods.
