Northrop Grumman in Huntsville, AL seeks a Modeling and Simulation Engineer – Level 3 or 4 to join our GWS team on the Ground Weapons System program. This role focuses on developing and enhancing modeling and simulation capabilities to support the Missile Defense Agency.

The position requires working on-site in a secure environment. You will apply strong C/C++/Java skills, Python, and OO design with SOLID principles, and contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative team while meeting the security

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM with 5+ years' related experience, or Master’s with 3 years, or PhD with 1 year.
• Proficiency in C, C++, or JAVA.
• Experience with Python.
• Experience with Atlassian tools and Git/Bitbucket.
• Experience with OO design and SOLID principles.
• Experience in modeling and simulation software.
• Ability to work in person in a closed-area environment.
• Active US Government Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Support the Ground Weapons System program as an individual contributor.
• Provide technical contributions to modeling and simulation products for GWS.
• Collaborate with teams to design and develop simulation capabilities for MDA.
