Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems, Multi-Domain Operations, and Missile Defense Integration seeks a Systems Engineer – Level 3 or 4 in Huntsville, AL to support the Ground Weapons System (GWS) program on the MBSE team.

You will decompose requirements, craft verification strategies, and own packages while collaborating with product teams, SMEs, and the customer in a fast-paced, on-site environment with DoD clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM and 5+ years of related work experience for Level 3, or Master’s Degree in STEM and 3 years, or PhD and 1 year.
• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM and 8 years for Level 4, or Master’s Degree in STEM and 6 years, or PhD and 4 years.

Responsibilities

• Decompose customer specification documents into Clear, Verifiable, and Achievable requirements utilizing DOORS.
• Develop Verification Compliance Strategies that detail how we plan to verify derived requirements and what data is required to provide the evidence.
• Own requirement or verification packages, and hold reviews and adjudicating comments from Product Teams, SMEs, and the Customer to baseline Packages.
