Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with software developers to integrate new software features at the vehicle level
2. Lead efforts to diagnose field issues and work cross functionally with various teams to drive resolutions
3. Define and execute vehicle test cases for new features
4. Create test scripts for post-processing vehicle data
5. Gather data from communication systems commonly used in embedded systems such as CAN, Ethernet, and data from vehicle telemetry stored in the cloud
6. Track feature maturity and develop comprehensive catalogs of regression test cases to ensure quality of released software
7. Root-cause bugs identified during test and integration; propose robust solutions to address issues identified
8. Bring up software to support new vehicle programs

Qualifications

1. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Software Engineering
2. 3+ years of experience working with control systems – automotive or aerospace experience preferred
3. Working experience with communication bus monitoring tools (Vector CANalyzer, PCAN or equivalent)
4. Strong understanding of electromechanical systems
5. Familiar with EV subsystems especially the Battery Management System and Thermal Management System
6. Working experience with software calibration tools (Vector CANape or equivalent)
7. Experience coding in Python and C/C++
8. Ability to thrive under pressure and apply creative and critical thinking to deliver exceptional results
9. Good team player with excellent communication skills

Pay Disclosure

Salary Range/Hourly Rate for California Based Applicants: 107,000-133,700 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
