Job summary

DuraServ is seeking a Systems Specialist to administer and optimize enterprise systems critical to financial and operational processes. You will work with business and technology teams to resolve complex issues and implement integrations, automation, and security enhancements.

The role requires advanced knowledge of ERP platforms and the ability to translate business needs into concrete system configurations and data mappings. Expect collaboration across multiple IT and business functions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
  • 10+ years in supporting, administering, configuring, or enhancing enterprise systems.
  • 3+ years with Microsoft Dynamics 365 in complex environments.

Responsibilities

  • Administer, configure, maintain, and optimize assigned enterprise systems, workflows, security roles, and automated processes.
  • Configure and enhance system functionality, integrations, automation, scripts, queries, and extensions.
  • Serve as SME and escalation resource for complex system issues; perform root-cause analysis.
  • Provide Level 3 technical and business process support; transfer knowledge to Level 1/2 teams.
  • Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot integrations, APIs, connectors, and data pipelines.
  • Evaluate requirements with stakeholders; recommend solutions improving efficiency and data accuracy.
  • Translate business requirements into configurations, specs, data mappings, and test plans.
  • Support enhancements, releases, deployments, and production support.
  • Maintain system security, access controls, configurations, and data integrity.

Job Summary

The Systems Specialist administers, configures, and supports business-critical enterprise systems and applications. This role serves as a technical and functional resource, resolving complex system issues, implementing enhancements, and supporting integrations, automation, security, and data integrity. The Systems Specialist partners with business and technology teams to deliver reliable system solutions that support financial and operational processes.

Job Summary

The Systems Specialist administers, configures, and supports business-critical enterprise systems and applications. This role serves as a technical and functional resource, resolving complex system issues, implementing enhancements, and supporting integrations, automation, security, and data integrity. The Systems Specialist partners with business and technology teams to deliver reliable system solutions that support financial and operational processes.

Essential Job Functions
  • Administer, configure, maintain, and optimize assigned enterprise systems, including workflows, security roles, business rules, system settings, master data, and automated processes.
  • Configure and enhance system functionality, integrations, automation, scripts, queries, extensions, and other technical components to support business requirements.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and escalation resource for complex system and production issues, performing root-cause analysis and coordinating resolution with internal teams, vendors, and other technology partners.
  • Provide Level 3 technical and business process support and facilitate knowledge transfer to strengthen Level 1 and Level 2 support capabilities.
  • Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot system integrations, APIs, connectors, automated workflows, scheduled processes, and data pipelines to maintain reliable data flow across applications.
  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to evaluate requirements, assess system impacts, and recommend solutions that improve efficiency, reliability, controls, and data accuracy.
  • Translate business requirements into system configurations, technical specifications, process flows, data mappings, testing requirements, and implementation plans.
  • Support system enhancements, releases, implementations, conversions, and integrations through configuration, testing, data validation, deployment, and production support.
  • Maintain system security, access controls, configurations, and overall system integrity in accordance with company standards, technology requirements, audit requirements, and internal controls.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
  • Advanced knowledge of enterprise business systems and the ability to independently administer, configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize system functionality, workflows, security, business rules, and automation.
  • Strong technical knowledge of system configuration and development, including workflows, business logic, scripting, extensions, queries, APIs, integrations, or code, as applicable to assigned platforms.
  • Strong understanding of system integrations and data movement, including APIs, connectors, data mapping, automated workflows, data pipelines, authentication, monitoring, and error handling.
  • Ability to analyze complex business and technical requirements, troubleshoot system and process issues, perform root-cause analysis, and recommend solutions that support system reliability, data integrity, security, and internal controls.
  • Ability to support complex system implementations, conversions, integrations, enhancements, testing, releases, and production support while effectively partnering with business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and other technology partners.
  • Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and organizational skills, with the ability to exercise independent judgment, communicate technical information to business users, manage competing priorities, and maintain appropriate system and process documentation.

Education And Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent education and relevant experience may be considered.
  • 10+ years of progressively responsible experience supporting, administering, configuring, or enhancing enterprise business systems, ERP platforms, financial systems, or other business-critical applications.
  • 3+ years of experience supporting or administering Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Demonstrated experience with enterprise system configuration, integrations, troubleshooting, enhancements, and production support.
  • Experience supporting system implementations, conversions, integrations, upgrades, or significant enhancements in complex or multi-entity environments preferred.
