Northrop Grumman Defense Systems in Roy, UT seeks a Systems Security Engineer to support the Sentinel (GBSD) program. The role involves assessing vulnerabilities, designing mitigations, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure program security across the lifecycle.

The position requires a STEM degree and US citizenship with active clearance; a 9/80 work schedule may apply, and relocation assistance is possible. Candidates may need 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Requires a STEM bachelor’s degree with related experience; master’s degree with less experience acceptable.
• US Citizen with active Secret clearance and ability to obtain Top Secret clearance and SAP access.
• Experience researching, interpreting, and mitigating vulnerabilities.
• Principal level requires TS/SA access experience and related assessments.

Responsibilities

• Perform system security vulnerability assessment and risk mitigation for the program.
• Support SSE Risk Assessment Team with program initiatives.
• Review and propose mitigations for system security vulnerabilities throughout the life cycle.
• Execute requirements and maturity commitments.
• Self-starter attitude and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Support MDT with other duties as assigned.
• Travel up to 10%.
