Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Roy, UT is seeking a Systems Security Engineer or Principal Systems Security Engineer to support the Sentinel (GBSD) program within the SSE team. The role requires US citizenship, an active clearance, and the ability to travel up to 10% to support program objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics from an accredited university; 2 years related experience, or Master’s with 1 year (principal level: 5 years with bachelor; 3 years with master).
• US Citizenship with active Secret clearance or ability to obtain Top Secret and SAP access within a reasonable time.
• Experience researching, interpreting, and developing mitigations for vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform system security vulnerability assessment and risk mitigation for the program.
• Support the SSE Risk Assessment Team in program initiatives.
• Review and recommend system security designs; propose mitigations for vulnerabilities and risks.
• Execute completion Statement of Work requirements and program milestones.
• Operate as a self-starter and take on duties as assigned.
