Sierra Nevada Corporation in Lone Tree, CO is seeking a Systems Security Engineer I to contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure IT systems, networks, and applications. The role emphasizes incident response, forensics, vulnerability assessments, and compliance with NIST/ISO standards.

You will work in a fast-paced aerospace and national security environment, collaborating across teams to develop security controls, document breaches, and support DoD clearance

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Security, Network Engineering, Information Technology, or related Engineering discipline.
• 0–2 years of experience in IT security or a related field; relevant experience may substitute for education.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and standards such as NIST and ISO 27001.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in design and implementation of secure IT systems and networks.
• Perform security monitoring and tuning to identify and mitigate threats.
• Participate in incident response, digital forensics, and loss prevention activities.
• Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments to identify security weaknesses.
• Develop and implement security controls and protocols.
• Research and recommend new security tools and technologies.
• Document security breaches and assess damages.
• Assist with development of security policies and procedures.
