Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation is seeking a Systems Administrator III to oversee complex systems within the Aerospace and Defense sector. You will design and implement advanced configurations, manage security, and troubleshoot mission-critical environments.

Travel and deployments to OCONUS locations are required. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in IT, Windows and Linux expertise, and an active Top Secret with SCI eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT.
• 5+ years in related IT field; 9+ years if no degree.
• OS knowledge: Windows and Linux; strong security focus.
• Must have active Top Secret with SCI eligibility.
• Willingness to deploy at various OCONUS locations and meet DoD requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of advanced system configurations.
• Manage and optimize system performance and security protocols.
• Provide expert troubleshooting for mission-critical systems.
• Maintain system documentation and coordinate upgrades.
• Travel/OCONUS deployments and shift requirements as needed.
