Job summary

Avalore is seeking a System Operations Manager to oversee all system operations, develop policies, mentor staff, and manage large-scale projects. You will coordinate between operational teams, establish standards, and lead reviews to ensure integration across environments.

Qualifications

• SECRET Security Clearance required for junior roles.
• Security certifications listed for senior roles include SecurityX / CASP+, CCNP Security, CISA, FITSP-O, GICSP, or SSCP.
• We are actively seeking multiple levels: Junior (0-3 years + Bachelor's), Journeyman (4-7 years + Bachelor's), Senior (8+ years + Bachelor's).
• English proficiency is required.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. No visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all system operations activities and develop operational policies.
• Mentor junior staff and manage large-scale projects.
• Develop and maintain the System Operations Plan and coordinate between teams.
• Establish operational standards, lead reviews, and ensure integration of components.
• Analyze performance metrics and recommend improvements; manage risks.
• Design and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
• Lead readiness activities for new system deployments and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Develop and manage budgets and SLAs; represent operations in leadership forums.
