Job summary

TGI Office Automation is seeking a Systems/Network Administrator in Brooklyn, NY to provide advanced support for Windows servers, networks, and cloud services. You will manage Azure AD, DNS, DHCP, Office 365, Teams, SharePoint, and virtualization with VMware/Hyper-V while handling complex incidents and ticket queues.

The role requires strong communication, 4–6 years of relevant experience, and the ability to travel to company locations in the Tri-State area.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of technical experience relevant to the role.
• Experience with Windows Server environments and Office 365 stack.
• Strong networking fundamentals and AD/DNS/DHCP management.
• Experience with VMware/Hyper-V virtualization platforms.
• Familiarity with ConnectWise or similar PSA tools.

Responsibilities

• Hands on administration of Windows desktop and server environments.
• Management and administration of the corporate network and Azure AD (if applicable).
• Manage DNS, DHCP, and Office 365 services (SharePoint/Exchange/Teams/OneDrive).
• Manage virtualization with VMware and Hyper-V environments.
• Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, wireless access points; monitor incidents.

This role involves resolving complex technical problems, escalating issues to higher-level support when necessary, and ensuring timely resolution of employee requests.Duties and Responsibilities:Hands on administration of Windows desktop and server environments.Management and Administration of the TGI corporate network.Management and Administration of Azure Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and O365.Management and Administration of Microsoft TeamsManagement and Administration of VmWare and Hyper-V virtual environmentsSupport and configuration of NAS and SAN technologies from various vendors.Installing, configuring and troubleshooting routers, firewalls, switches and wireless access points. (Cisco, Meraki, HP, UniFi, SonicWall).Troubleshooting complex application/hardware/network/system incidents and providing timely remediation and root cause analysis.Managing and maintaining inventory of hardware, installed software and corporate licensing.Documentation of procedures, standards, best practices configurations, settings, installation sequences and back-out instructions.Timely responses to support tickets on Connectwise service board.Qualities we look for:Strong verbal and written communication skills.Substantial experience with Windows Servers.Substantial experience Managing Office 365 including Sharepoint/Exchange/Teams/OneDriveStrong understanding of fundamental networking concepts.Strong understanding of architecting and configuring Microsoft Windows OS technology Iincluding AD Forests, Domains, Trusts, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and Organizational Units.Experience with VMware and Hyper-V virtual environments.Excellent interpersonal customer service and problem-solving skills.Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities.4-6 years technical experience relevant to the above.Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.A driver’s license and vehicle of your own and the ability to travel to Company locations in the Tri-State.A solid and well thought out diagnostic mindset.Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment (servers, computers, etc.).Familiarity with the ConnectWise Suite of products is helpful but not a requirement.The successful candidate must have effective communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure and deadlines to effectively manage complex customer situations.Job Type: Full-timePay: $80,000 - $85,000 per yearBenefits: Dental insurance, Health insurance,Vision insurance, Life insurance, PTO, and 401(k)Schedule: Monday-FridayWork Location: In-person: Brooklyn, NY (120 3rd St, Brooklyn, NY 11231)EEO StatementWe are an equal employment opportunity employer.
