Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Systems Modeling & Simulation, Operations Analysis Engineer in Rancho Bernardo, CA. You will join a small, cross-functional team developing physics-based models and dynamic scenarios for system analysis.

The role involves designing vignette threads, performing operations analysis, and contributing to CONOPs and TTPs at multiple levels. Requires a STEM degree and TS clearance; relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• Requires a STEM bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of military or professional experience, or a STEM master’s with relevant experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SAAR clearance per program requirements.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, C++, Java or software-based trade studies.

Responsibilities

• Perform operational analysis and mission effectiveness analyses.
• Translate tactics into mission-level models (AFSIM).
• Model environments and run trade studies via simulations.
• Develop CONOPs and TTPs at system, mission, and campaign levels.
• Develop and integrate system simulation frameworks and threat models.
