Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in Palmdale, CA is seeking a Systems Modeling & Simulation Engineer (Engineer or Principal). The role focuses on modeling environments, developing real-time simulations, and integrating software to support operator-in-the-loop mission testing.

Qualifications

• BS in STEM plus 2 years of experience, or MS in STEM
• Principal level: BS 5 yrs, MS 3 yrs, or PhD with 1 yr
• Experience with OO languages (C#, C++, Java) and modeling/simulation

Responsibilities

• Model operational environments and perform trade studies via computer simulation.
• Design, develop, integrate, and test physics-based real-time simulations.
• Demonstrate capabilities to leadership and customers; support blue/red CONOPS modeling.
