Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate Engineer Systems Modeling Simulation or Engineer Systems Modeling Simulation in California (Palmdale, Redondo Beach, El Segundo, or San Diego). You will develop new and integrate existing system simulation frameworks, perform cost and ROI analyses, and apply MBSE to support system design and verification.

The roles require STEM degrees, ability to obtain security clearance, and potential relocation support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM completed by Aug 2027
• Master’s degree by Aug 2027 (or Bachelor’s with 2 years experience for T02)
• Must be able to obtain and maintain U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship required)

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate system simulation frameworks and performance models.
• Apply modeling best practices to mission and system analyses.
• Develop LORA, spares optimization, and ROI assessments.
• Conduct O&S cost analyses and inform decision-making.
• Apply MBSE to support design, analysis, and verification.
• Communicate results clearly to internal/external customers.
• Collaborate across teams in a fast-paced environment.
