TEKsystems is seeking a Systems Engineer specialized in identity management, messaging, and endpoint security for a hybrid role in Lansing, MI. The candidate will focus on AD/Entra ID integration, security remediation, and desktop endpoint management in a modern enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with M365 in an enterprise environment including Active Directory/Entra ID integration.
• Proven ability merging two tenants and performing cross-tenant configurations.
• Quest migration experience including Compliance, Connect network, and trust setup.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID environments, including cross-tenant configurations and permissions.
• Integrate with legacy and modern applications and support Exchange/Outlook environments.
• Troubleshoot identity, access, and authentication issues across systems, and perform security remediation tasks.
• Manage desktop endpoint environments: packaging and deploying software, GPOs, updates, and using Intune/Tanium.

We are seeking a highly motivated Systems Engineer with experience in identity management, messaging systems, and endpoint security.

This role will focus on Active Directory and Entra ID integration, security remediation, and desktop endpoint management, supporting a modern enterprise environment.

The ideal candidate is a strong problem-solver who can quickly learn new technologies, adapt to evolving environments, and proactively address security vulnerabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support Active Directory (AD) and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) environments, including:
  • Cross-tenant configurations and permissions
  • Integration with legacy and modern applications
  • Support and maintain Exchange/Outlook environments, including mailbox administration and integration
  • Troubleshoot and remediate identity, access, and authentication issues across systems
• Perform security remediation activities, including:
  • Patch management and vulnerability remediation
  • Hardening systems (e.g., disabling ports, updating servers such as Oracle environments)
• Manage desktop endpoint environments, including:
  • Packaging and deploying software
  • Managing Group Policy Objects (GPOs)
  • Supporting endpoint configuration and updates
  • Utilize endpoint management tools such as Microsoft Intune and Tanium
  • Collaborate across IT teams to implement secure and scalable solutions
  • Continuously assess and improve system security posture

  This is a Contract position based out of Lansing, MI.

  Pay and Benefits

  The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00/hr.
