Job Description:
Sherpa 6, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a Systems Integrator for the JPEO CBRND Wearables program. The Systems Integrator will work closely with the JPEO CBRND and DEVCOM Soldier Center program offices, supporting the assistant product manager of the JPEO CBRND wearables line of effort.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and attend meetings with vendors and third-party program offices.
- Compile meeting notes and distribute content to stakeholders.
- Support program office fielding synchronization and integration.
- Assist with acquisition management for the program.
- Stay informed about military, government, and commercial C4ISR technologies.
- Assist in integrating new equipment for demonstrations and testing.
- Help develop equipment specifications and standards between vendors and the program office.
- Conduct training on new equipment and provide context on uses and capabilities.
- Train and integrate ATAK, WinTAK, TAK Server, and CIVTAK.
- Configure wideband and narrowband handheld radios.
- Identify discrepancies, anomalies, and defects in evaluation products.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in engineering or IT-related field.
- 5+ years of proven experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of network architectures and hardware configurations.
- Experience with Linux and server systems administration.
- Military experience or familiarity with standard tactics, techniques, and procedures.
- Problem-solving skills in system and network design issues.
- Ability to communicate technical issues effectively.
- Excellent writing, communication, and reporting skills.
- Familiarity with RDT&E across government organizations.
- Knowledge of government procurement processes.
- US citizenship required.
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
Preferred Experience:
- Past affiliation with Special Operations Forces (SOF).
- Understanding of tactical communications.
- Adaptability to changing conditions.
- Basic routing and switching configuration skills.
- Experience with certificate management.
- Knowledge of audio and video industry standards.
- Experience with tactical radios (e.g., PRC-148C, MPU-5).
- Knowledge of satellite and cellular systems.
