Job summary

Arcfield is seeking an experienced VV&T lead in the Fort Belvoir area to interact daily with customers and AOs, defining and executing VV&T activities for space and ground systems. You will assess architecture, risks, and processes, producing reports and briefings for leadership and stakeholders.

Strong facilitation, mentoring, and collaboration with SETA/FFRDC teams are essential to success. The role requires directing tests, transitions, and milestone readiness events, while ensuring adherence

Qualifications

  • Must possess TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
  • BS/BA with 8–10 years experience, or 6–8 with MS/MA, or 3–5 with PhD.
  • Ability to facilitate meetings and working groups.
  • Experience with Enterprise or System level satellite VV&T activities.
  • Experience with GEOINT or PROTECTION systems space and ground architecture.
  • Knowledge of space-to-ground mission technical capabilities and system performance analysis.
  • Experience with Mission Planning, Control or Processing functions in support of space and ground operations.
  • Writing test strategies, plans, procedures, and checklists.
  • Executing tests, analyzing data, and summarizing results.
  • Ability and willingness to mentor and lead Junior VV&T team members.
  • Ability to partner with SETA, FFRDC, and Government lines of authority.

These Qualifications Would Be Nice To Have (DESIRED)


  • 12+ Years of related experience.

  • SME level knowledge of Enterprise / System Level Satellite VV&T.

  • Knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering and experience using SysML.

  • Experience with commercial VV&T techniques in service-oriented architecture (SOA) environments, or for infrastructure or application service provider environments.

This is the projected compensation range for this position. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. Min: $110,204.91 Max: $191,624.96
