Job summary

Connexion Systems & Engineering Inc. seeks a Systems Integration and Test Engineer to support IAMD development in Grand Prairie, TX. This onsite, full-time role plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains integration and testing across components and systems.

Responsibilities include developing test plans, executing tests, analyzing results, and coordinating with programs and organizations to verify system performance. A Secret clearance is required to start.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in engineering with 8–10 years (or 6–8 years with MS) of professional engineering experience.
• Ground Launch Missile and munitions flight test experience is preferred.
• Experience with DT/OT testing and system integration.

Systems Integration and Test Engineer

Location: Grand Prairie, TX 75051 (Onsite Full Time)

Pay Rate: $96.20 Hourly (Non-Exempt, Overtime eligible OT40)

Work Schedule: 4/10A - 1st Shift

Position Summary & Scope

This position is to support our IAMD (Integrated Air and Missile Defense) development within the Integration and Test Discipline. The candidate will plan, implement, test, document, and maintain solutions for the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems, and systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Synthesize customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
• Establish functional and technical specifications and standards, solve hardware/software interface problems, define input/output parameters, and ensure complete system/subsystem integration.
• Review, evaluate, and derive requirements for testability; develop and direct the preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules.
• Coordinate subsystem and system testing activities with programs and other organizations.
• Perform analysis of test results and prepare comprehensive subsystem/system-level evaluation reports to verify and validate system performance.
• Write discrepancy reports and perform integration regression testing to verify and validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems, and systems.

Required Experience & Qualifications

Experience Level: Level 4 (BS + 8–10 years or MS + 6–8 years of professional engineering experience).

Core Background: At least 10 years of experience with design, integration, test, and requirement verification/validation for electrical designs, with a primary focus on Flight Testing, Operational Flight Test, Development Test, and Operational Test (DT/OT).

Specialized Domain Expertise: Ground Launch Missile and Munitions Flight Test experience, as well as System Integration and Test experience on munitions.

Documentation & Planning: At least 6 years of experience developing advanced test plans, procedures, test execution schedules, and test reports to support customer and key stakeholder reviews.
