Job summary

Connexion Systems & Engineering Inc. seeks 5 Systems Integration and Test Engineers (Level 3) for a high-impact aerospace/defense contract in Chelmsford, MA.

Roles involve planning, implementing, testing, documenting, and maintaining integration and testing of in-house and COTS/GOTS components and subsystems. The team will synthesize customer needs, define testable requirements, develop test plans, and coordinate across programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field Accredited college degree (or equivalent professional-level experience)
• 5+ Years generating status reports, project plans, and work instructions using Microsoft Office Products
• 5+ Years writing, editing, and supporting existing software code base with LabVIEW
• 3+ Years writing, editing, and supporting test code environments with TestStand
• 3+ Years analyzing and resolving complex engineering problems (Problem Analysis & Resolution)
• 5+ Years experience as a subject matter expert in RF or Microwave Systems
• 9+ Years professional-level engineering experience preferred overall

Responsibilities

• Synthesize customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions within technical, schedule, and cost constraints
• Establish functional and technical specifications and standards for test activities
• Define input/output parameters and ensure integration of the entire system
• Develop and direct preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules
• Coordinate subsystem and system testing with programs and other organizations
• Analyze test results and prepare evaluation reports to verify and validate system performance
• Write discrepancy reports and perform integration regression testing to verify fixes

Job Description Summary We are seeking 5 Systems Integration and Test Engineers (Level 3) for a high-impact contract opportunity supporting aerospace and defense programs. The selected engineers will plan, implement, test, document, and maintain solutions for the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems, and systems.

Key Responsibilities

Synthesize customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Establish functional and technical specifications and standards, solve hardware/software interface problems, define input/output parameters, and ensure integration of the entire system. Review, evaluate, and derive requirements for testability; develop and direct preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules. Coordinate subsystem and system testing activities with programs and other organizations. Perform analysis of test results and prepare comprehensive subsystem/system-level evaluation reports to verify and validate system performance. Write discrepancy reports and perform integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, and subsystems.
