Connexion Systems & Engineering Inc. is seeking an Integration & Test Engineer for our Orlando, FL site.

This onsite, full‑time style contract position involves planning, executing and documenting comprehensive integration and test activities for subsystems and systems. You will lead a team of TPS developers, coordinate with hardware, software and systems engineers, and deliver structured evaluation reports.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree with extensive experience in systems integration and testing.
• Experience with test program development and compliance requirements.
• Must be able to obtain security clearance if converted to full‑time.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, test, document and maintain subsystem and system integration tests.
• Derive testable requirements and analyze results to verify system performance.
• Lead TPS developers and collaborate with hardware, software and systems teams.
• Prepare comprehensive evaluation reports and regression test documentation.
• Provide technical leadership for integration activities and problem solving.

Integration & Test Engineer

Job Category: RMS / Engineering

Employment Type: Contingent Non-Employee / Contract (Opportunity for FTE hire)

Work Location: Orlando, FL (Onsite Full Time)

Schedule: 4/10 - 1st Shift

Pay Rate: $35.00 – $80.00 Hourly (NOOT)

Position Overview & Responsibilities

Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains solutions for the integration and testing of subsystems and/or systems. Synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.

Systems Engineering & Integration: Establishes functional and technical specifications, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem.

Analysis & Reporting: Reviews and derives requirements for testability, performs analysis of test results, and prepares comprehensive evaluation reports to verify and validate system performance.

Writes discrepancy reports and performs integration regression testing.

Technical Leadership: Leads a team of Test Program Set (TPS) developers and collaborates closely with Hardware, Software, and Systems Engineering to produce tailored customer solutions.

Qualifications & Compliance Requirements

• Education / Experience Level: Level 3 (Minimum Bachelor’s Degree with 9–15 years of experience, or Master’s Degree with 7–13 years of experience). Requires a minimum of 10 years in a similar role.
• Technical proficiencies: Experience developing test programs written in either PAWS ATLAS or NI TestStand and LabWindows CVI.
• Working knowledge of standard electronics lab equipment.
• Clearance Requirement: Must have the ability to obtain a security clearance if converted to full-time.
