Job summary

Butler America Aerospace L.L.C. in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking a Systems Integration & Test Engineer for a 12-month contract. The role focuses on integration and testing of electrical designs and COTS/GOTS components within IAMD development.

Responsibilities include planning, implementing, testing, documenting and maintaining integration solutions; developing test plans; coordinating subsystem tests; analyzing results and preparing evaluation reports; and writing discrepancy reports for fixes.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of design, integration, test, and verification of electrical designs (DVT Testing).
• Ability to develop advanced test plans, procedures, schedules, and reports.
• 6+ years of physics and electronic testing experience.

Responsibilities

• Establish specs and standards; solve hardware/software interface problems; ensure system integration.

Pay Range: $65-78 - W2 hourly

Job Description:

This position is to support our IAMD development in Integration and Test Discipline.

• Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains solutions for the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems and/or systems.
• Synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints.
• Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem.
• Reviews, evaluates and derives requirements for testability, develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems.
• Coordinates subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations.
• Performs analysis of test results and prepares comprehensive subsystem and/or system level evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance.
• Writes discrepancy reports and performs integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems and systems.

Required Experience:

• Candidate must have at least 6 years of experience with design, integration, test, and verify/validate requirements of electrical designs (DVT Testing)
• Candidate must be capable of developing advanced test plans, test procedures, test execution schedules, and test reports to support customer and key stakeholder reviews.
• Candidate must have at least 6 years of experience with Physics, Develop/execute test plans & Electronic Testing.
