Job summary

RTX is seeking an entry-level, onsite role in MA/NH for a hands-on internship/co-op and early-career engineer to support testing, integration, and validation of tactical systems. The position requires a master’s STEM degree by start date and ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.

Travel up to 15% may be required. Responsibilities include developing test plans, troubleshooting, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure system performance and integration across hardware and software

Qualifications

Master’s degree in STEM required by start date.
Experience generating technical docs (test plans, procedures, reports).
Experience troubleshooting technical issues in an academic or internship setting.
Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement test plans and procedures for simulations and real-world environments.
Troubleshoot and analyze hardware, software, and system issues.
Collaborate across functions to improve performance and resolve issues.
Use modeling and simulation tools to predict system performance.
Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems for field tests.
Document integration plans and communicate results to leadership.
