Job summary

Raytheon seeks an entry-level onsite engineer in Massachusetts/New Hampshire to support testing, troubleshooting, and integration of tactical hardware and software. You will work across disciplines to drive performance, validate system behavior, and document results.

Travel up to 15% is possible as operations occur at multiple RTX sites. Ideal candidates hold a Master's in STEM and have hands-on experience with test plans, debugging, and modeling tools such as MATLAB or Python.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in STEM obtained by start date.
• Experience generating technical documentation, such as test plans, procedures, or technical reports.
• Experience troubleshooting technical issues in an academic or internship setting.
• Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Responsibilities

• Support testing effort: develop and implement test plans, procedures, integration, and verification in simulated and real-world environments.
• Troubleshoot and analyze: identify and resolve hardware, software, and system issues through detailed analysis and debugging.
• Drive performance: collaborate across functions to drive performance improvements and resolve system issues.
• Modeling and analysis: utilize modeling and simulation tools to predict system performance and support verification and validation.
• Integrate systems: integrate hardware and software into tactical systems in field test and hardware-in-the-loop environments.
• Collaborate: work with a multi-disciplinary team to achieve seamless integration and system functionality.
• Document and communicate: develop integration documentation, execute plans, analyze data, verify requirements, and communicate results to leadership.
• Support missions: travel as needed (up to 15%) to support mission execution at various locations.
• This role is onsite at RTX facility in Andover, MA; local travel within MA and Southern NH may be required.
