Job summary

RTX is seeking an entry-level engineer for onsite work in MA to support testing, troubleshoot hardware/software, and drive system integration across multiple disciplines.

The role involves modeling and analysis, developing verification plans, and documenting results while coordinating with leadership and stakeholders. Local travel up to 15% may be required, with first shift hours and part-time sections.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in STEM obtained by start date.
• Experience generating test plans, procedures, or technical reports.
• Experience troubleshooting technical issues in an academic or internship setting.

Responsibilities

• Support testing effort: Develop and implement test plans, procedures, integration, and verification in both simulated and real-world environments
• Troubleshoot and Analyze: Identify and resolve hardware, software, and system issues through detailed analysis and debugging
• Drive Performance: Collaborate across functions to drive performance improvements and resolve system issues
• Modeling and Analysis: Utilize modeling and simulation tools to predict system performance and support verification and validation
• Integrate Systems: Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems in field test and hardware in the loop environments, evaluating their functionality and impact
• Collaborate: Work with a multi-disciplinary team to achieve seamless integration and system functionality
• Document and Communicate: Develop integration documentation, execute plans, analyze data, verify requirements, and effectively communicate results to leadership and stakeholders
• Support Missions: Travel as needed (up to 15%) to support mission execution at various locations including local RTX facilities, test sites, vendor facilities, and customer locations occurring primarily during first shift and part time section shift hours.
