Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Rochester, NY, is seeking Systems Integration & Test engineers to develop EO/IR solutions and integrate/test electro‑optic systems for airborne and ground surveillance.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams in engineering, manufacturing, and program management to design, develop, and build high‑performance systems. A BS with 4+ years' experience (MS +2 years) is typical; obsolescence management and test automation are key components.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience; Graduate Degree with 2+ years preferred.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop system integration concepts & test plan approach.
• Ensure system requirements are met and evaluate performance measures.
• Perform system and subsystem integration, risk assessment, planning, verification and validation, and supportability analyses.
• Design, develop, and release test equipment (HW and SW).
• Coordinate with Operations for production STE/ATE requirements, automation, and UI.
• Develop test equipment procedures and instructions.
• Manage upgrades to STE for obsolescence / enhancements.
• Maintain library of preferred test equipment / components and standards.
• Design Qualification program: plans, procedures, and test equipment.
