Butler America Aerospace, LLC. seeks an Systems Integration & Test Engineer in Orlando, FL to drive system integration, testing, and evaluation tasks for missile hardware.

You will generate test plans, execute tests, and support ESS/EMI/DVT activities, while ensuring lab operations compliance and close collaboration with engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years of engineering experience.
• Must have 1+ years of system integration and/or test experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, or Aerospace) or Physics.
• Must have 2+ years of test planning, test execution, lab operations, and test analysis experience.
• Must have 2+ years of developing test documentation such as test plans, procedures, and reports.

Responsibilities

• Generate and execute sub-system and system level integration and test plans/procedures.
• Prepare test equipment and facilities for test events.
• Support DVT and Qualification tests including ESS, EMI, and ATP.
• Investigate and resolve hardware, software, and test equipment anomalies.
• Provide engineering evaluations of redesigns or upgrades to existing missile.
• Lead Lab Operations to ensure compliance, 6S, and audits/inspections.
• Collaborate with Engineering Operations Directorate to optimize cooperation.

Systems Integration & Test Engineer

You will be the System Integration, Test, and Evaluation (IT&E) Engineer to support a program's system integration and system qualification initiatives in Orlando, FL. Our team is responsible for executing sub-system and system level integration and tests for new and existing products.

What You Will Be Doing

• Generating and executing sub-system and system level integration and test plans/procedures
• Supporting the preparation of test equipment and facilities required for test events
• Supporting Design Verification Tests (DVT) and Qualification tests, including Environmental Stress Screening (ESS), Electromagnetic Interference (EMI), and Functional Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) for new hardware
• Support Failure investigations and resolution of hardware, software and test equipment anomalies that have occurred during system and subsystem testing
• Provide engineering evaluations of redesigns or upgrades to the existing missile
• Leading the Lab Operations to ensure compliance, 6S and regular audit/inspections
• Working closely with the Engineering Operations Directorate to synergize our working relationship

Required Skills

• Candidates must have at least 2+ years of relevant engineering experience
• Candidates must have at least 1+ years of system integration and/or test experience
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, or Aerospace) or Physics
• Candidates must have at least 2+ years of test planning, test execution, lab operations, and test analysis principle experience
• Candidates must have at least 2+ years of developing test documentation such as test plans, procedures, and reports experience

Desired Skills

• MS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Integration and Test (I&T) working with Hardware Integration with a focus on sensor integration
• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
• Strong problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex test data and provide recommendations for product design improvements
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail, with ability to ensure accurate and reliable test results
• Empowerment to drive mutually beneficial solutions when a clear answer is not readily visible
• Experience with test fixture design, test procedure development, and Development Verification Test (DVT)
• Experience with Environmental Qualification Testing
• Experience with EMI Testing
• Active SECRET (or higher) clearance
