About The Role
We are looking for a dynamic, hands-on Systems Innovation & Technology Transformation Manager to lead the continuous evolution of our internal and customer-facing applications, systems, and tools. Sitting at the intersection of enterprise architecture, delivery, and business operations, this role will shape, modernise, and deliver next-generation solutions to improve business efficiency, customer experience, and operational excellence.
Technology Transformation Leadership
- Drive end-to-end transformation of internal and external business systems, tools, and applications.
- Align initiatives with broader Enterprise Architecture (EA) principles and strategy.
- Identify opportunities to decommission legacy systems and modernise existing ones to increase efficiency, innovation, and user experience.
- Foster a culture of experimentation and innovation, adopting modern delivery techniques and technologies.
Program & Project Management
- Define scope, roadmap, and delivery plans for transformation initiatives in collaboration with EA and technical architects.
- Manage multiple concurrent transformation projects with varying complexity and stakeholders.
- Ensure smooth handover of solutions to BAU teams with proper documentation and knowledge transfer.
Team & Stakeholder Leadership
- Lead and develop a high-performing transformation team including project managers, analysts, and technologists.
- Provide direction, remove blockers, and ensure team alignment on objectives and timelines.
- Act as escalation point during development, testing, and release phases.
- Communicate progress and assurance to stakeholders at all levels.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in systems transformation and digital tooling.
- Promote “fail fast” principles, proof of concept design, and agile delivery frameworks where appropriate.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify pain points and opportunities for automation and digital improvements.
- Perform other duties inherent to the position as needed.
Role Requirements
- Strategic, execution-focused leader thriving in a fast-paced, project-heavy environment, passionate about driving change through technology.
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields or equivalent experience.
- ITIL Foundation Certification.
- Proven experience leading transformation initiatives in complex, multi-system environments.
- Strong understanding of enterprise applications, cloud platforms (preferably Microsoft), and integration principles.
- Experience working with EA and technical architects to design solutions within enterprise standards.
- Successful track record delivering complex projects from discovery to production and BAU transition.
- Ability to inspire and manage cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Deep knowledge of modern delivery models including Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD.
Nice to Haves
- Certifications like CSM or SAFe, or proficiency in Agile methodologies.
- ServiceNow Fundamentals Certification.
- Experience within a Microsoft-centric environment (Azure, Fabric, Power Platform, M365).
- Background in application rationalisation, digital tooling, or customer experience platforms.
- Familiarity with innovation frameworks and transformation best practices.
Essential Skills
- Understanding of enterprise business systems (CRM, ERP, finance, HR, case management).
- Experience with Microsoft ecosystem: M365, Azure IaaS/PaaS, Power Platform, SharePoint, Purview.
- Experience with ServiceNow, especially workflow design and automation.
- Knowledge of monitoring platforms like LogicMonitor.
- Solid grasp of software lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies.
- Experience managing large-scale digital transformation projects.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Excellent project planning and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to communicate technical changes clearly to leadership and business teams.
