Job summary

Mayvin seeks an experienced Systems Infrastructure Lead to oversee enterprise systems supporting the U.S. Army Transportation Command’s global IT environment. You will lead administration, maintenance, security, and modernization of servers, OS, storage, backup, and recovery capabilities.

The role requires coordinating with Government stakeholders, implementing DoD controls, and ensuring mission-ready infrastructure. A US citizen with active clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Minimum of five years of experience in systems administration or enterprise infrastructure.
• Experience with DoD security requirements and STIGs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily enterprise systems and infrastructure operations.
• Manage physical and virtual servers, operating systems, storage, and related infrastructure.
• Install, configure, patch, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows and Linux systems.
• Manage VMware vSphere, vCenter, and other virtualization technologies.
• Administer storage area networks and network-attached storage systems.
• Oversee data backup, restoration, disaster recovery, and continuity-of-operations capabilities.
• Maintain system availability, performance, capacity, and security.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, privileged access, and system configurations.
• Implement DoD security controls, STIGs, patches, and vulnerability remediation.
• Coordinate infrastructure incidents, outages, maintenance, upgrades, and technology refreshes.
• Maintain system documentation, inventories, configurations, diagrams, and SOPs.
• Report infrastructure status, risks, outages, performance trends, and corrective actions to Government stakeholders.

This position will lead the administration, maintenance, security, and modernization of physical and virtual servers, operating systems, storage, backup, and recovery capabilities. The Systems Infrastructure Lead will coordinate with Government stakeholders and technical teams to maintain secure, reliable, and mission‑ready infrastructure services.

Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Must have an active Secret clearance.

This position is pending contract award.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline
• Minimum of five years of relevant experience in systems administration, enterprise infrastructure support, server management, or related IT operations, preferably in a DoD environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in Security+, GSEC, GFACT, or CND
• Experience administering Windows and Linux servers, virtual environments, Active Directory, patching, backups, storage, system monitoring, and configuration management
