Job summary

Mayvin is seeking a Cybersecurity Operations Lead to oversee cyber defense operations supporting the U.S. Army Transportation Command's global IT environment at Scott AFB, IL. You will lead security monitoring, threat analysis, vulnerability management, incident detection and response, and reporting to Government stakeholders while ensuring operational readiness of mission-critical systems.

Must be a U.S. citizen with an active Secret clearance and a 4-year degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, cybersecurity, or related field.
• U.S. citizenship and active Secret clearance required or preferred.
• DoD environment experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Leading day-to-day cybersecurity and cyber defense operations
• Monitoring security alerts, network activity, system logs, and SIEM data
• Identifying, analyzing, documenting, and escalating potential cyber incidents
• Coordinating incident response, containment, remediation, and recovery activities
• Managing vulnerability scanning, analysis, tracking, and reporting
• Overseeing ACAS scans, Vulnerability Index reports, POA&Ms, and remediation efforts
• Supporting RMF activities and maintaining system Authorizations to Operate
• Ensuring cybersecurity activities comply with DoD, Army, DISA, and organizational requirements
• Providing cybersecurity status, risks, trends, and recommendations to Government stakeholders
• Leading cybersecurity personnel and coordinating security activities with system, network, application, and help-desk teams

Job Details: Job Location: Scott AFB, IL 62225, Position Type: Full Time, Education Level: 4 Year Degree, Salary Range: $139,914.00 - $150,110.00 Salary, Travel Percentage: Up to 25%, Job Shift: Day, Job Category: Government, Mayvin is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Operations Lead to oversee cybersecurity activities supporting the U.S. Army Transportation Command’s global IT environment. This position will lead cyber defense operations, including security monitoring, threat analysis, vulnerability management, incident detection and response, security reporting, and coordination with Government stakeholders. The Cybersecurity Operations Lead will help protect mission-critical systems, networks, and information while maintaining operational readiness across the enterprise.

Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Must have an active Secret clearance.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in computer science, cybersecurity, data scientist, information systems, information technology, software engineering or a related field

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum of five years of relevant cybersecurity experience, including experience performing cyber defense analysis in a DoD environment
• Security+, PenTest+, Cloud+, CEH Practical, FITSP-O, GCED, GDSA, GMON, GRID, or GSEC
