Job summary

Mayvin seeks an experienced Systems Infrastructure Lead to oversee enterprise systems supporting the U.S. Army Transportation Command’s global IT environment.

The role leads administration, maintenance, security, and modernization of servers, storage, backup, and DR capabilities in a DoD context. You will coordinate with Government stakeholders and technical teams to maintain secure, reliable, and mission-ready infrastructure services while ensuring compliance with DoD security controls and

Qualifications

• US Citizen with active Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline.
• Minimum of five years of systems administration experience, preferably in a DoD environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily enterprise systems and infrastructure operations.
• Manage Windows and Linux servers, virtualization, storage, backup and disaster recovery.
• Install, patch, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows and Linux environments.
• Manage VMware vSphere, vCenter and other virtualization technologies.
• Oversee SANs and NAS systems and ensure data integrity.
• Maintain system availability, performance, capacity, and security; document procedures.

This position will lead the administration, maintenance, security, and modernization of physical and virtual servers, operating systems, storage, backup, and recovery capabilities. The Systems Infrastructure Lead will coordinate with Government stakeholders and technical teams to maintain secure, reliable, and mission-ready infrastructure services.Must be a U.S. Citizen.Must have an active Secret clearance.This position is pending contract award.Responsibilities:Leading daily enterprise systems and infrastructure operationsManaging physical and virtual servers, operating systems, storage, and related infrastructureInstalling, configuring, patching, maintaining, and troubleshooting Windows and Linux systemsManaging VMware vSphere, vCenter, and other virtualization technologiesAdministering storage area networks and network-attached storage systemsOverseeing data backup, restoration, disaster recovery, and continuity-of-operations capabilitiesMaintaining system availability, performance, capacity, and securityManaging user accounts, permissions, privileged access, and system configurationsImplementing DoD security controls, STIGs, patches, and vulnerability remediationCoordinating infrastructure incidents, outages, maintenance, upgrades, and technology refreshesMaintaining system documentation, inventories, configurations, diagrams, and standard operating proceduresReporting infrastructure status, risks, outages, performance trends, and corrective actions to Government stakeholdersRequired Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related disciplineMinimum of five years of relevant experience in systems administration, enterprise infrastructure support, server management, or related IT operations, preferably in a DoD environmentPreferred Qualifications:Certifications in Security+, GSEC, GFACT, or CNDExperience administering Windows and Linux servers, virtual environments, Active Directory, patching, backups, storage, system monitoring, and configuration managementAbout Mayvin:Mayvin is more than a workplace, it’s a community built on innovation, ingenuity, and impact.
