Job summary

Mayvin is seeking an experienced Network Infrastructure Lead to oversee network operations supporting the U.S. Army Transportation Command’s global IT environment.

This role leads operations, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of enterprise network services across multiple locations. You will coordinate with Government stakeholders and technical teams to ensure secure, reliable, and mission-ready connectivity, maintain documentation, and guide a team of network professionals through

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information technology, or related field.
• Minimum of five years of relevant IT/infrastructure experience, preferably in a DoD environment.
• U.S. Citizenship and active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily network infrastructure operations across supported locations.
• Manage routers, switches, firewalls, circuits, and network services.
• Monitor availability, performance, capacity, and security.
• Troubleshoot outages, connectivity issues, and performance degradation.
• Coordinate maintenance, upgrades, configuration changes, and tech refreshes.
• Maintain secure configurations per Army/DoD standards.
• Support NIPRNet, SIPRNet, DoDIN, and mission-critical systems.
• Document networks: diagrams, configurations, inventories, and SOPs.
• Coordinate incident response with cybersecurity personnel.
• Lead network staff and coordinate with admins, apps teams, and help-desk.
• Report status, outages, risks, and trends to Government stakeholders.
