Northrop Grumman Defense Systems in Roy, Utah seeks a Systems Engineering Manager 2 to lead the CAM/EVM framework for SEIT, oversee a 1500-line IMS, and manage a small engineering team while advancing technical program work.

The role requires a US citizen with a Secret clearance and strong experience in cost Estimates, ROM/BOE, and EVMS. Relocation assistance may be available and some travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM with 8+ years of related technical experience or Master’s with 6+ years.
• At least 1 year of CAM and EVM experience.
• 2 years of Systems Engineering and/or Integration & Test experience.
• US Citizen with active Secret clearance at time of application and ability to obtain SAP approval within time.
• Experience generating/reviewing cost estimates, BOE documentation, or ROM development.

Responsibilities

• Serve as CAM for the SEIT scope, managing a 1500-line IMS, 8 control accounts, and hundreds of millions in scope.
• Ensure EVMS compliance and liaison between team, segment leadership, and business management.
• Manage full cost account lifecycle including EAC, risks, change boards, and VARs.
• Lead small team on special engineering initiatives to improve efficiencies or ROM/BOE development.
• Balance functional management of up to 10 engineers with systems engineering work (~80%).
