Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Systems Engineering Integration & Test (CS SEIT) Manager 2 in Roy, Utah. The role blends leadership of a Functional Home Room with hands-on technical project work on SDS SEIT MS&A initiatives.

Responsibilities include mentoring a team of engineers, aligning requirements, and coordinating with subcontractors while advancing MBSE and system analysis efforts. A Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) with at least 8 years of related experience or 6 years with a Masters.
• U.S. Citizenship with an active Secret security clearance at time of application.
• Ability to obtain SAP approval within a reasonable period.
• Minimum 1 year experience with modeling, simulation, and analysis.
• Experience with power systems (commercial, hardware, or industrial).
• Experience with System Analysis using Capital, ETAP, MATLAB, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Systems Engineering discipline Section within the SDS Systems Engineering organization.
• Mentor and provide operational support to a Functional Home Room of 8–12 ICs.
• Balance Functional Homeroom responsibilities (≈20%) with technical project work (≈80%).
• Develop and decompose requirements, perform traceability, and support MBSE strategy.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure program model governance and present content to stakeholders.
