Job summary

SHI International Corp. in New Jersey is offering a Systems Engineering Intern role within the Integration Services team.

You will configure, test, and validate customer hardware and software environments, and gain hands-on experience with enterprise systems, scripting, and automation. You'll collaborate with engineering and IT, assist in builds, troubleshoot performance, and document processes to improve operations.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a junior or senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
• Must be available for a full 12‑week internship and onsite work.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for the duration of the program.
• Ability to install and configure OS and application software for customer environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installing and configuring operating systems and application software for customer orders.
• Support the setup of VPNs and infrastructure in collaboration with IT and security teams.
• Monitor and test application performance under supervision.
• Help maintain customer-owned equipment in secure environments and document procedures.
