Job summary
Medtronic in Minnesota is seeking a Director of Systems Engineering within the Electrophysiology Technologies CRM division to lead a team of engineers and shape platform strategy. The role focuses on architecture, AI-enabled practices, and cross-program consistency to enable scalable, future-proof product development.
The leader will balance near-term program execution with long-range platform thinking, coaching a team of 10–20 engineers and collaborating with BU R&D, PMO, and compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 10 years systems engineering experience in medical devices or a highly regulated industry.
- Minimum of 7 years managerial experience.
- Experience with MBSE, digital engineering and AI-enabled workflows is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead an organization of systems engineering leaders and technical contributors to achieve objectives.
- Develop and maintain vision and roadmap for Balanced Innovation strategy within the Systems organization.
- Increase responsible AI adoption in Systems Engineering workflows with measurable gains.
- Own Systems Development strategies and ensure scalable front-end execution.
