Job summary

Medtronic plc is seeking an Information & Data Architect to define and govern the data architecture for its Digital Health platform. You will lead data strategy, governance, modeling, and stewardship across cross-functional teams to enable analytics, reporting, and AI initiatives.

The role partners with engineering, quality, regulatory, and business units to ensure data is accurate, secure, and accessible, aligning with regulatory requirements and future data initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience, or Master's/PhD with fewer years but higher specialization.
• Experience with software architecture, APIs, and enterprise integrations.
• Strong data modeling, metadata, and information governance.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, FDA software lifecycle processes, and quality management.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the logical information architecture for the Digital Health platform.
• Lead cross-functional data discovery to align platform capabilities with needs.
• Establish and govern enterprise data standards for ownership, stewardship, and quality.
• Analyze data flows, integrations, dependencies, and information exchanges.
• Partner with software teams to embed data architecture, privacy, security, and integration requirements.
• Define and maintain RBAC and data access governance with Cybersecurity and Legal.
