Job summary

Medtronic in Minnesota seeks a Senior Systems Engineer for Neuromodulation products. You will lead system-level design, verification, and integration across hardware and software, translating clinical and customer needs into robust requirements.

You will collaborate with R&D, quality, regulatory, and project management to ensure design controls, risk management, and lifecycle processes across product development. This is a demanding, growth-focused role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4 years of relevant experience or Master's with 2 years in a related field.
• Strong knowledge of Design Controls, including verification, validation, and traceability.
• Experience in a regulated environment with QMS exposure.
• Experience collaborating with software, hardware, and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead system-level design, development, and integration for implantable devices and enabling tech.
• Translate clinical and business needs into traceable system requirements across HW/SW.
• Define architectures, interfaces, workflows, and functional requirements.
• Lead system verification and validation with test planning, execution, and documentation.
• Conduct risk assessments and support mitigation of technical risks and failures.
• Collaborate with R&D, quality, regulatory, marketing, and project management teams.
