Job summary

Amazon LEO Mission Operations is seeking a Systems Engineer who will own cross-system problem resolution to ensure safe, reliable, and scalable operations for satellite constellations. You will drive requirements, interface definitions, and validation strategies while coordinating with multiple engineering teams to maintain fleet health and operational readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure.
• Experience programming with Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust.
• Experience with Linux/Unix and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Own cross-system resolution of operational problems across satellite constellations.
• Define and maintain interface expectations and acceptance criteria across teams.
• Develop CONOPS documents, operational requirements, and traceability of interfaces.
• Manage fleet health KPIs and the operational risk register.
